The Joy-Filled Marriage Self-Paced Online Course with Live Guided Discussion, offers a comprehensive approach that covers not only the sacramentality and theology of marriage, but the practical life skills necessary to live out the rich Catholic vision of marriage.
Prior to Purchasing This Course:
- Meet with the priest or deacon who will oversee the wedding and obtain permission to use this course to satisfy diocesan or parish requirements.
- Confirm a wedding date with the Church.
Course Requirements & Expectations:
- Purchase the course (one per couple, not individual) and receive a confirmation email from “[email protected]”.

- Use the Express Link in the confirmation email to gain access to watch session videos and digital materials, including Life Skills for Couples, God’s Plan for Love and the Couple’s Journal. You can purchase physical books by clicking here and adding the Couple’s Set to your cart.
- Schedule time together to complete the 8-10 hours of self-paced portion of this program at least 60 days prior to your wedding date.
- After completing the self-paced portion of this program, you will gain access to register for an included Live Guided Discussion (2.5 hours) via Zoom with 12 couples and a Facilitator or Facilitator Couple.
- Once in the course, you can also view the available Live Guided Discussion dates in the introduction pages of the course, which are usually scheduled at least 6 times per month including weeknights from 7-9:30pm EST and at least one Saturday from 10am-12:30pm EST.
- After completing the self-paced portion, register for and attend one of the available Live Guided Discussions at least 45 days before your wedding date.
- A Certificate of Completion will be sent to the email address on file through the Live Guided Discussion registration process (be aware if you use a different email address from the one you use to purchase this course) within 3 business days after attending the Live Guided Discussion.
